Interior renovation in Fort Collins. Walls, floors and finishes, room by room.

Drywall, ceilings, trim, interior doors, flooring and paint that bring tired rooms up to date without moving walls.

Interior Renovation

What it involves. And when it's the right call.

Not every update needs new plumbing. A lot of houses just need the surfaces done: popcorn ceilings scraped, cracked drywall fixed, carpet swapped for hard floors, and trim and doors that match from room to room.

We handle interior renovation as a planned project, not a list of handyman jobs. That means the order is right, the dust is contained, and the floor goes in after the ceiling work instead of before it.

Interior renovation makes sense when

  • Popcorn or textured ceilings make rooms look dated
  • Drywall has cracks, old patches or nail pops
  • Carpet, vinyl and tile all meet in the same hallway
  • Interior doors and trim are mismatched or worn
  • You are getting the house ready to sell or to move in

Interior updates in Fort Collins homes

Many homes built from the 1960s to the 1980s have textured ceilings. Ceilings from that era can contain asbestos, so they are tested before scraping, as Colorado rules require for that kind of work.

Our dry climate is hard on wood. Solid hardwood and wood trim should acclimate inside the house before install, and gaps can show in winter when the furnace runs. We plan materials and timing for that.

FAQ

Interior Renovation: your questions

Is my popcorn ceiling safe to remove?

It needs testing first if the house is older. If the test comes back positive, abatement is done by a licensed firm before we refinish.

Can you do just the floors?

Yes, but if ceilings or paint are also on your list, doing them first saves the new floor from damage.

How long does it take?

It depends on how many rooms are in the list. The schedule is written into the scope before work starts.

Interior work often sits inside a bigger remodel. If a kitchen or bath is on the list too, we plan them together.
